Tuscani Trip
Four day corporate incentive trip through Tuscany.
An elegant and exclusive incentive programme was organised for 40 top dealers of the U.K. Piaggio Group, providing a memorable series of experiences, meals, and uniquely Italian encounters on a journey from Pisa to Siena.
The trip began with a special tour of the Piaggio factory in Pontedera where the iconic Vespa scooter has been manufactured since 1946. In the afternoon the group transferred to elegant lodgings on the outskirts of Siena, with views on the countryside and on the town. A fleet of Vespa scooters was lined up in front of the Hotel for the use of guests during their stay.
Subsequent days provided guests with privately guided tours of main attractions in the region, along with special visits such as the wine tasting tour of the ancient Avignonesi vineyard and winery, located in the countryside between Siena and Cortona, and a tour of San Gimignano, the walled medieval hill town famous for its medieval architecture and towers.
The last evening included a special evening cocktail and gala dinner at the beautiful Italian villa featured in Bernardo Bertolucci’s movie Stealing Beauty, surrounded by its stunning gardens. While enjoying champagne in the front garden with a view of Siena, guests were entertained with an expert demonstration of the ancient art of falconry – a medieval royal pastime in the region. The gala dinner was served in the stunning villa great room and, as the sun set, candles were lit in the gardens to create a magical atmosphere, as if time stopped centuries ago, while guests returned to the hotel.
